Airshow London Appoints New Board Chair, Peter White

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

London, Ontario – February 10, 2025 – Airshow London is pleased to announce that Peter White has been appointed as its new Board Chair, effective immediately. White, who has served on the Board since 2017, succeeds Jim Graham, who held the position for a decade following Airshow London’s first year under its current name in 2015 and its inaugural event in 2016.

During Graham’s tenure as Board Chair, Airshow London introduced several initiatives that significantly broadened the show’s overall visibility and appeal. One major highlight was the introduction of the SkyDrive format – an innovative approach that earned recognition and praise from fans around the world and helped position Airshow London as one of North America’s premier air show events.

“We appreciate Jim’s leadership over the past ten years and are thrilled to welcome Peter as our new Board Chair,” says Holly Doty, Executive Director of Airshow London. “Jim will continue to support our success on the board as Past Chair while Peter’s proven dedication to the organization, combined with his strategic perspective, will help us continue to deliver a world-class aviation experience.”

Peter White brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning and community engagement – attributes that will help guide Airshow London’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships and elevating the show’s entertainment value.

“It’s truly an honour to step into this role and carry forward the incredible work that has been done so far,” says Peter White, Airshow London Board Chair. “I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated team to not only push boundaries and continue delivering top-tier aviation entertainment, but also in supporting local organizations. Last year alone, we proudly supported key partners like Children’s Health Foundation, YXU Plane Spotting Park, Western University, Hope Air, among many others, reflecting our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact well beyond the airfield.”

Tickets for the 2025 show are on sale now and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are sold per vehicle for up to six (6) passengers and can be purchased at airshowlondon.com.
