Porter Inaugurates Service at New Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET)

Opening represents a revitalized era of seamless travel and economic investment for Greater Montreal

LONGUEUIL, Quebec–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Porter Airlines is launching its first flights from Montreal Metropolitan Airport – MET, a significant, privately-funded national transportation infrastructure project, located in Longueuil on Montreal’s South Shore. MET – Montreal Metropolitan Airport and YHU Terminal Welcome Their First Passengers

Porter Further Expands Sun Network With Turks and Caicos Flights

Porter Airlines is adding another destination to its sun network with service to Providenciales (PLS), Turks and Caicos. The new non-stop flights are available from Toronto Pearson (YYZ), five times weekly, beginning Nov. 6, and Ottawa (YOW), twice weekly, beginning Dec. 17.

TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Porter Airlines is adding another destination to its sun network with service to Providenciales (PLS), Turks and Caicos. Porter Airlines is expanding its presence in British Columbia with flights between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Kelowna International Airport (YLW). Porter is the only airline offering non-stop flights between the two destinations.

Service begins today with five weekly roundtrip flights, increasing to six weekly flights in June.

This is the second Kelowna route that Porter serves, complementing existing Toronto Pearson flights. Service to other cities in British Columbia include Vancouver and Victoria. Flights operate on the new 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. It has the lowest fuel consumption per seat and per trip in its class, and is the quietest single-aisle jet flying today. The two-by-two configuration means there are no middle seats on any Porter flight.
