Lufthansa Allegris elevates the travel experience across all classes, with re-designed seats, cabins and services, tailored for all guests on board. Airbus A350-900 aircraft equipped with Allegris will operate on long-haul flights in Lufthansa’s network, including Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Chicago.

Since 1983, when Lufthansa flew its inaugural route to YVR from Frankfurt, the airline has continued to offer travellers daily flights to Frankfurt and seasonal flights to Munich. At YVR, we have also continued to expand our service offering for passengers over that time, working to enhance the overall passenger experience, from seamless check-in processes to state-of-the-art connection facilities.

For Lufthansa, YVR serves as a gateway to the region and one of the busiest and most culturally diverse cities in Canada. The airline’s decision to debut its new tailor-made Allegris at YVR underscores the airport’s strategic importance as a key destination in its global network. Allegris, with its innovative design and amenities, is set to elevate the in-flight experience for passengers travelling to and from Vancouver.

The introduction of Allegris is also a testament to Lufthansa’s commitment to sustainability. The cabin interior was developed using eco-friendly materials aimed at reducing the airline’s carbon footprint. This aligns perfectly with YVR’s own sustainability goals, highlighting a shared vision for a greener, more resilient future for air travel.

As Lufthansa Allegris makes its debut at YVR, it not only signifies a new era of luxury travel but also reaffirms our strong partnership with Lufthansa.
