Flair Airlines Expands Service on Key Routes to Connect Even More Canadians Affordably

October 10, 2024, EDMONTON, Alberta — Flair Airlines is excited to announce its summer 2025 schedule, bringing increased flight frequency on key domestic routes to better serve Canadians. The summer 2025 schedule will see Flair expand service on high-demand routes like Vancouver- Toronto, with a 71% weekly increase; Vancouver and Abbotsford – Edmonton, a combined 18% weekly increase; and Calgary – Toronto, a 29% weekly increase. The new schedule represents significant capacity increases along key routes compared to the previous year, offering more affordable travel options for Canadians.

“The new summer 2025 schedule is a fantastic opportunity for Flair and our passengers,” said Maciej Wilk, Interim CEO of Flair Airlines. “By concentrating our resources on routes with the highest demand, we’re able to offer more frequent flights and better service between key cities. This allows us to focus on routes with the greatest demand, providing more affordable flight choices for Canadians. It’s a strategic move that maximizes our fleet’s efficiency, giving passengers more flexibility while reinforcing our commitment to accessible travel.”

Flair will operate up to four daily flights between Vancouver and Calgary and three between Edmonton and Vancouver and Edmonton and Abbotsford. When combined with Vancouver and Abbotsford, Calgary will see up to seven daily services.

“We are optimistic about the future,” said Sumanth Rao, newly appointed CFO of Flair Airlines and a long-time Delta Airlines veteran. “We aim to maximize the efficiency of our fleet by focusing on high-demand routes. Canadians will see us flying more frequently between major cities, offering more affordable travel choices on the most important routes to our passengers.
