EDMONTON, Alberta, October 10, 2023. – Flair Airlines, Canada’s leading low fare airline, today announced continued improvements in operational performance in September. On time performance was very high with 79% of flights arriving within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time, a 17% improvement over August. The average on-time performance for June through September was 73.8%, among the best in Canada. The September load factor remained excellent at 90.7% for the month.

The completion factor improved in September to 99.4%. Only 16 flights were cancelled out of more than 2,500 scheduled flights, with 12 cancellations due to weather conditions on the East Coast.
These key performance indicators are closely monitored measures within the airline industry:
- Load Factor measures the network-wide share of seats sold to paying passengers.
- Completion factor measures flights actually flown compared to those originally scheduled.
- Flights that arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time are considered to be on-time. Flair Airlines remains committed to transparency through the release of monthly operational metrics through its channels, by mid-month of the following month.
