The renowned Canadian aviation company is hiring for 40 new positions at its Hamilton International Airport location.
August 18, 2022—Hamilton—KF Aerospace is excited to host a Job and Career Fair at its widebody aircraft maintenance base in Hamilton on Thursday, August 25th. You’re invited for an exclusive inside look at KF’s world-class aviation operations and multi-faceted career opportunities.
The event will showcase a range of entry-level roles that include paid on-the-job training and certification programs with competitive wages and benefits. Hands-on roles include aircraft painting and interior technicians, while hangar support and tool counter positions offer customer service and administrative career paths. KF is also recruiting licensed and apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with Structures, Mechanical and Avionics designations.
Operations Manager, Steve Martin says applicants of all backgrounds are welcome. “This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who’s ready for a new job adventure and wants to experience an exciting, fast paced industry. Our exceptional capabilities in aircraft maintenance and modifications bring all kinds of customers, projects, and aircraft through our hangars.”
The event will be hosted at KF’s facility that is linked with the Mohawk College Centre for Aviation Technology and invites prospective students to also learn about its immersive aviation tech training programs. Guests will be toured through KF’s hangars and repair shops, and can speak with KF staff to learn about other professional avenues including aerospace engineering, logistics, supply chain, administration, and IT. Prospective employees will see B737 and B767 aircraft in various stages of maintenance.
The company expects to fill 40 jobs by the end of 2022 to support growing demand for its aircraft maintenance and modification services, says Chief Corporate Services Officer, Grant Stevens. “With our major facility expansion completed in 2020, we’re focused on growing our staffing to support new and ongoing customer projects. KF has been operating in Hamilton for over 27 years and thanks to partners like Mohawk College and the Premium Employer program, we’re excited to continue building our employee community.”
