iAERO: A New Name for a New Era of Canadian Aerospace Innovation

GRAVENHURST, ON — November 17, 2025— ICARUS AERO INC. is proud to announce the official launch of iAERO, marking the next evolution of the company’s brand, vision, and capabilities. This new identity reflects a decade of significant growth and the company’s continued commitment to shaping the future of aerospace design, certification, and manufacturing.

What began as a niche design organization has evolved into a full-spectrum aerospace engineering and manufacturing company serving fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and UAS operators worldwide. The transition to iAERO represents far more than a name change—it signals the advancement of a company that has consistently expanded its expertise, infrastructure, and impact across civil, government, and military sectors.

Over the past decade, the company has expanded from a 4,000 sq. ft. workspace to more than 12,000 sq. ft. of integrated hangar, engineering, and manufacturing facilities. Now headquartered at the historically significant Little Norway Airport (YQA) in Muskoka, iAERO operates from a site with deep aviation roots and a proud legacy in Canadian aerospace.

Within its Transport Canada–approved facility, iAERO supports increasingly complex aircraft modification programs, mission-system integration efforts, and advanced aerospace product development. Its capabilities span law enforcement, military, medevac, search and rescue, border enforcement, EO/IR surveillance, firefighting, and cargo operations. The company’s expanding in-house manufacturing, including CNC machining, composite fabrication, and precision assembly, continues to elevate its ability to deliver high-performance, turnkey aerospace solutions.

“The name iAERO reflects the three values defining our evolution: innovation, integration, and intelligence,” said Ryan Hader, President of iAERO. “It captures who we have become and the high standard we will carry forward as we expand our capabilities and continue supporting operators around the world.”

Despite the updated brand, the company’s foundation remains unchanged. iAERO continues to operate under its Transport Canada-approved Design Approval Organization (DAO No. 17-O-02) and remains guided by the same leadership, engineering accountability, and regulatory precision that customers have trusted for years. Strengthened production capacity, improved workflow integration, and ongoing investments in quality systems further enhance its ability to serve a growing global client base.

Looking ahead, iAERO will accelerate commercialization of its mission-critical technologies, expand its engineering and manufacturing teams, and increase its presence across TCCA, FAA, and EASA regulatory frameworks. Planned infrastructure growth and new certification programs will further position the company as a leader in advanced mission-equipment design and aerospace innovation.

From its origins as ICARUS AERO INC. to its future as iAERO, the mission remains unchanged—but the momentum is stronger than ever: to design, certify, and deliver advanced aerospace systems that enable operators to fly smarter, safer, and farther.
